The Charpy impact tester supports a hard plastic test piece with or without a notch with a double-sided beam, impacts it with a rotary hammer and destroys it, measures the energy value required for destruction, and obtains the Charpy impact value. The tester is used to judge the characteristics such as impact resistance, brittleness, and toughness of materials.
